The good earth essays the charachters of teh good earth are Wang Lung(husband) and Olan (wife) in the begining the setting is in China, at the house of wang.it starts of on wang lung's wedding day and he marrys olan. the woman picks up teh husbands peach pit and plants it. she was treated cruelly at her old house but wang lung is sweet to her.he likes her, the pech tree grows.
